Sketchdump #005
26th January 2026Salutations! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and is ready to get into 2026! Due to the creation of my custom typeface font, I have generated several ideas that would pair well with my font, in my opinion.
Lilo & Stitch AU
One of the ideas for artwork is an alternate universe of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, where the Galactic Federation sends Gantu instead of Jumba & Peakley and successfully captures Stitch. Lilo also gets accidentally captured and is sent into space, and is separated from her sister Nani. Lilo grows up in space, and both of them become Bounty Hunters.
Ratchet & Clank
This idea came from MISTER ACXION! when he helped me craft Meekla. He used Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s Photo mode to create graphics for my font.
So I purchased Rift Apart a second time and took some photos. I never really appreciated the photo mode when it first came out, but thanks to MISTER ACXION!, I’ve got a better appreciation of it in action.
Coco Bandicoot
This last piece of art wasn’t planned at all and just kinda happened (the best things are normally by accident)
There was a post on Twitter that pointed out how funky-looking one of Coco’s 3D renders looked, which gave me a great reason to redraw it. There’s something about early Crash Bandicoot renders that are always so charming to me, regardless.
Original Character Stuff
Following Rebia and using her as the mascot for my font custom typeface Meekla. I also designed myself a T-shirt. There’s something so unreal about printing your own OC on a t-shirt! Originally, teckgeck.net was going to be a mixed merch store, but it pivoted into a digital store. It can still be used as a merch store down the line if I choose to change my mind.
Last but not least are some concepts of one of my characters that’s planned for a video game. I am planning to start development asap, but before I jump straight into the deep end, you’ll see smaller projects whilst I learn how to use a brand-new game engine.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I will no longer post artwork individually and instead will post it here in sketchdumps posts. I will also no longer keep my art archives updated, as it seems to break occasionally whenever there are website maintenance updates.
I can’t wait till spring. Days over here get dark way too quickly, and the lack of any sunshine is tanking my mental health as of late.
