Soooo… Activision used my Spyro Logo without credit
12th September 2023So a day after Spyros’ 25 anniversary, I woke up to something pretty… interesting on Twitter. It turns out that someone over at Activisions’ Socials used a Spyro logo that I made 2 years ago without permission or credit.

I was going to make this into a separate post, but seeing as this is Spyro logo-related, I did make a 25th-anniversary logo. I do hope we get some news soon from our purple little devil, The Spyro socials seem to be hinting pretty hard that they are working on something ?
With all this said and done, if Activision or anyone working on Spyro at the moment is reading this, I am not mad, just disappointed ?
I know more than likely whoever is running the Activision Blizzard social media account did this on accident and didn’t know that my logo was an unofficial fan-made logo, all things considered, this is actually pretty funny. I tried to get their attention but I know the chances of Activision Bizzard acknowledging what they’ve done is very slim but credit would still be nice.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m now tempted to make a Crash Bandicoot logo in the style of Spyro the Dragon just for the memes.

I’m gonna tag this as Client work for my Blog archives, despite me not getting paid or officially recognised by Activision Blizzard, it must have been ‘official-looking’ enough, so I’m tagging it as such!
