Crash VS. Spyro Racing
6th October 2023On the 25th of October, Modern Vintage Gamer came across an original Xbox which contained an exciting prototype of two famous 3D platforming characters. Of course, this got my creative juices flowing and I had to act on this instinct
This was super fun to put together, I wanted to retain the energy of past Crash openings, so much so that I even voiced over the video myself! I’ve got nothing on Clancy Brown but it was fun voicing something of my own for once. I even redid the sound effects to retain that cartoony vibe from both series.
Can’t wait for Activision to somehow use this logo in some unexpected way…

I am going to retain this opening energy in my own games eventually, my game Gat-Pon doesn’t have an animated logo at the moment as it has the least priority when it comes to the project.
I can understand why most games don’t have animated logos anymore because making the actual game is a lot more important than an intro screen that lasts less than a few seconds.
I may continue this as a UI/UX menu interface concept similar to the R&C Titanium collection I’m currently working on, though I shouldn’t start any new things till I wrap up my other unfinished projects
