TS – Impulse Tracker is now available!
18th March 2024Over 1 year ago, a good friend of mine System ST91 released a very slick Megamix of my music on Youtube!
I remember exactly what I was doing over 1 year ago and where I was when I first heard the Megamix, I was at work doing some training and had my headphones on. While I was training and listening to the mix, I had the biggest grin on my face, it was so wide that the only other person next to me was probably wondering what I was smiling for. I can’t remember how my day was before I listened to the Megamix, but it was 100% better after that’s for sure!
Recently, I thought that this mix was way too good to be just stuck on YouTube just sitting there and needed to be in more places, so I asked System ST91 if he was okay with having the mix distributed. The distribution process itself was a hassle, the title of the EP/Album was originally known as “TeckGeck MegaMix – ?????????” but the distributor was having none of that. We had to resubmit the release 5-7 times before it got approved, at least on the bright side when we collaborate again, we know what NOT to do when it comes to naming the album and tracks. I haven’t posted any updates on teckgeck.com for a while. I’m working on several personal projects at the moment. I want to get my 4 Gdevelop projects (Gat-Pon, Lulabea’s Bubble Drop, Ratchet & Clank UI/UX project and Spyro Dating sim ) to a certain point that I’m happy with before I start any more (unless it’s a game jam of sorts or something) because I know that unfinished projects in a portfolio look super unattractive. The painful thing is that I’ve got sooo many ideas I wanna start working on them but as I said above, I need to find the discipline and finish my other stuff first before I start more.
Hopefully in the next few months, I can finish some projects and then begin some new fresh ones. 2024 is going pretty well so far and I think it’s only gonna get better. I can’t wait!
